Accelerated black holes beyond Maxwell's electrodynamics

Theories of non-linear electrodynamics naturally describe deviations from Maxwell's theory in the strong field regime. Among these, special interest is recently discovered ModMax electrodynamics, which a unique 1-parametric generalization that possesses conformal invariance as well electromagnetic duality. In this paper we construct asymptotically AdS accelerated black holes and study their thermodynamics – providing thus first example solutions coupled to electrodynamics. Our opens window towards studying radiative spacetimes regime raises new challenges for corresponding holographic interpretation.
